GUAGNXI, June 20, China Daily -- Three of the nation's rarest species were recently spotted for the first time at Laxi National Wetland Park in Nandan county of Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

This is the second big discovery since the sighting of 30 endangered Chinese mergansers in Tian'e county last year all but confirmed the success of Hechi's conservation efforts.

BEIJING, May 28 -- The appraisal meeting for registering CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) research unit was held in Beijing on May 28, 2018. After expert evaluation, Research Institute of Wood Industry of Chinese Academy of Forestry becomes the first CITES forestry registration unit in China.
