GERMANY, May 26 - On May 21 2015, Mr. Liu Dongsheng, Deputy Administrator of State Forestry Administration of China, signed a letter of intent for cooperation in the field of Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) with Dr. Elsa Nickel, Directorate-General of Nature Conservation and Sustainable Use of Natural Resources, German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety.

Through regular meetings, joint trainings, research projects, and exchange visits to deepen cooperation and understanding of each other, the contract aims at promoting the protection and sustainable utilization of endangered wild fauna and flora.

Mr. Liu Dongsheng also met representatives from Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, and signed a letter of intent for bilateral cooperation on forestry, to strengthen cooperation on forestry and wood industry on the basis of long-term harmonious cooperation through the Sino-Gernany Agricutural Cooperation Center.
