BEIJING, May 31 -- China currently has 53 World Heritage Sites and ranks second in the world, which was announced by Marielza Oliveira, director of the UNESCO office in Beijing at Cultural and Natural Heritage Day in 2019.
And there are 1092 World Heritage Sites among countries, which include 845 Cultural Heritages Sites, 209 Natural Heritage Sites and 38 Mixed Heritage Sites.
