DENMARK, April 12 -- The Sino-Danish Giant Panda joint research cooperation officially was kicked off on April 12, 2019 in Denmark. Two pandas named Xing Er and Mao Sun(Mao Er) arrived Copenhagen Zoo on April 4 from southwestern Chinese city of Chengdu city. Both two sides will start cooperation and research in the fields of Giant Panda breeding and protection for 15 years.

The launching ceremony of the Sino-Danish Giant Panda Research Cooperation was held on April 12, 2019 in Copenhagen Zoo. Tan Guangming, Deputy Administrator of National Forestry and Grassland Administration of China attended the ceremony, he expressed that Chinese government pays high attention on strengthening wild life protection and has made great accomplishment. In recently years, China has been cooperating with 23 zoos in 18 countries on giant panda protection researches.
