BEIJING, January 10 -- Peng Youdong, Deputy Administrator of National Forestry and Grassland of China met with Jaana Husu-Kallio, Permanent Secretary of Finnish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Beijing on January 10, 2019. Ms. Jaana Husu-Kallio showed great appreciation that China gave a pair of Giant Pandas for cooperative research to Finland. They both think that forestry cooperation between each other has made great accomplishment. Ms. Jaana Husu-Kallio hope hopes to strengthen and broaden cooperation and exchanges in the future. They also exchanged views on issues they both concerned with, including forest product trade, demonstration of sustainable forest management, Intentional Year of Plant Health, United Nations Forest Forum and National Parks Management.
