MYANMAR, SRI LANKA, November 21 -- Li Shuming, Deputy Administrator of National Forestry and Grassland Administration of China led a delegation to visit Myanmar and Sri Lanka respectively during November 13-20, 2018.

During the visit Mr. Li respectively met with H.E.U Ohn Winn, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and Anura Dissanayake, Secretary of Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Mahaweli Development and Environment. They exchanged views on the MoU signed between each other, and made consensus on conducting pragmatic cooperation on policy dialogue, capacity building and demonstration projects in the field of forest rehabilitation, forest fire prevention and control, community forestry as well as forest management. After the meeting, they also visited the project field sites in these two countries.
