BEIJING, November 6--The 20th anniversary of International Network for Bamboo and Rattan (INBAR) was held in Beijing on November 6, 2017. A Ministerial Summit on South-South Cooperation and the Green Development of Bamboo and Rattan was also held to celebrate the anniversary. Zhang Jianlong, Administrator of State Forestry Administration of China attended the ceremony and made a speech.
Founded in 1997, INBAR was the first intergovernmental organization established in China. It currently has 43 Member States, comprising most of developing countries with bamboo and rattan resources.
