BEIJING, April 8 -- Liu Dongsheng, vice administrator of State Forestry Administration of China met with Marc Palahí, Director of European Forest Institute (EFI) in Beijing on April 5, 2016. The bilateral parts exchanged views on cooperation in the field of sustainable forest management, forest governance and forestry industry, and they decided to renew Momorandum of Understanding and further promote practical cooperation.

European Forest Institute (EFI) is a forestry policy think tank of European Union, which has a total of 25 European states and 115 associate and affiliate member organizations. It conducts research and provides policy support on issues related to forest bio-economics, rural development, biodiversity and climate change at the European level.
