FUJIAN,Jan.4,Chinadaily - The Tingjiangyuan Nature Reserve in Changting county, Fujian province got National AAA Scenic Spot designation from the provincial Tourism Evaluation Bureau recently thanks to its being one of the county's 12 major attractions and its reputation as the home of Hakka culture.

HANGZHOU, November 6 - An opening ceremony on the 2014 Ministerial Seminar on Forestry Industry among Developing Countries was launched on 1 November 2014 in Hangzhou City. High officials from China’s departments and local government and Environment Minister of Uganda Flavia Nabugera Munaaba delivered speeches on the ceremony.

ANHUI Nov.19 - On November 18, 2014, the 8th Chinese Bamboo Culture Art Exhibition opened in Huangshan, south of Anhui Province. SHIJIAZHUANG, Oct. 29, Xinhua - Chinese scientists have finished the genome sequencing of the Chinese jujube tree, providing an insight to develop better quality jujube fruits.

Jujube trees are indigenous to China with 99 percent of the world's jujube plantations in China. The plant is the source of income for more than 20 million Chinese farmers.
