HANGZHOU, November 5 -- The 2nd World Forum on Ecosystem Governance was held on November 5 in Hangzhou, capital city of eastern China's Zhejiang Province. The forum was jointly organized by China's National Forestry and Grassland Administration (NFGA), the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the municipal government of Hangzhou. With the theme of Ecological capital and ecosystem governance, the forum released the Hangzhou Declaration.

Mr. Zhang said China has conducted a large number of key ecological projects. And in order to further promote the global ecosystem governance, he raised three suggestions: making joint efforts to promote the Sustainable Development Goals and the process; to contribute to adapting to and coping with climate change; to establish ecology governance system with win-win cooperation, co-construction and sharing as well as harmonious and symbiosis atmosphere.
