BEIJING, May 4 -- Chen Fengxue, vice administrator of State Forestry Administration of China (SFA), met with Mark Tercek, President and CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of The Nature Conservancy (TNC) on May 4, 2016. The bilateral parts renewed the Five -Year Cooperation Framework Agreement between SFA and TNC. According to the agreement, both parts would conduct cooperation in the fields of nature conservation and ecological restoration, climate change, Natural Reserve management etc.

LIMA, April 26 -- The First Forestry Working Group Meeting between China and Peru was held on 26 April 2016 in Lima, capital of Peru. Zhang Hongwen, chief economic engineer of State Forestry Administration of China attended the meeting.

The bilateral parts exchanged views on sustainable forest management, wildlife protection, wetland reservation, desertification combating, forestry response to climate change, bamboo and rattan industry development, forestry policy-making, and forestry industry development. At last, it was agreed to promote further cooperation and exchanges in the fields mentioned.
